Glomobi is a young, rapidly growing company that provides mobile- and web entertainment services worldwide.
At this moment we offer our SMS-, MMS-services and Java games in 30 countries. Our services are promoted directly to the end users through local TV commercials. Besides our office in Amsterdam (responsible for Europe, North- and South America) we have an office in Malaysia. To reinforce our Marketing team, we are looking for a Junior Marketing Manager, for Portugal.
General:
The objective of the Marketing Manager is to increase the turnover per country, by acquiring new users and to make sure that current users keep on using our services.
Job responsibilities:
You will be responsible the Portuguese market. Your main goal is to maximize the turnover for your country by active promotion of the services. You have to make sure that the services meet the specific requirements of the country, that TV-commercials are produced and that the airtime for the TV commercials is purchased. Your responsibility is to achieve your targets with a set budget. After analysing your results you undertake an action to improve them.
You work closely together with external parties (for example: local TV stations and aggregators) but also internally with the technical department and customer service.
Profile:
You have academic education in a commercial direction and a good feeling for consumer behaviour, particularly in the youth segment.
You are a starter or have a maximum of 2 years experience in a marketing function. You are an ambitious self-starter and you set high standards for yourself and your environment. You have the ability to get things done; you are social and a good team worker with a no-nonsense attitude. You are a native Portuguese who understands the culture and speaks the language.
